Codex 0.166.0 release adds keyboard transcript selection, GPT‑6.1 Terra model and queue resume

The 0.166.0 release adds keyboard‑driven transcript selection with word, line and page motions, integrated search and configurable shortcuts. It also adds GPT‑6.1 Terra to the bundled, Vertex AI and Amazon Bedrock model catalogs and introduces the codex queue --resume command to resume unloaded threads. Additional updates include clearer safety‑block explanations, selectable safer follow‑up prompts, and a codex doctor --network‑only diagnostic mode. Bug fixes preserve approval settings, image attachments and fix macOS cleanup issues.
